House of Hackney opens London flagship store

British interiors brand House of Hackney has opened a new flagship London store to showcase its signature 'Victoriana with a twist' collections.

Designed by MRA Architecture & Interior Design, the two-floor store is divided into a series of themed rooms. The garden room displays bouquets created by florists Wild At Heart, and features traditional black and white tiling, a floral print feature wall and a butler's sink with brass taps.

The Fabric room presents House of Hackney's cushion and wallpaper ranges, with a library of samples available to browse, each one tied with a ribbon.

The black and white tiling continues into this room, with a change in scale used to mark out the spaces.

Fashion room at House of Hackney

The Fashion room contains the brand's apparel, footwear, sleepwear and lingerie.

Lastly, the Furniture showroom on the lower ground floor walks customers through a series of roomsets that have been styled by print. Parquet floors, panelling and a fireplace add to the opulent feel of each space.
