Patterned rollers by The Painted House

Thursday 1 November 2012

British brand The Painted House specialises in patterned paint rollers: easy to use, DIY-friendly tools for applying pattern to walls without investing in wallpaper. The rollers are available in nine different designs, and two types of applicator, one for fabric and one for paper.

Other ideas for the product's use include scatter cushions, bunting, printed lampshades and curtains.

The brand's founder, Clare Bosanquet, stumbled across the idea for the product at a market in Romania, where the technique has been used as an alternative to paper wall coverings for over a century.
