Devantex at Proposte 2012
Belgium-based textile producer Devantex's latest collection, on show this week at Proposte 2012, pairs jacquard and plain upholstery velvets with an inspiring combination of colour and finishes.

Influenced by the recent increase in copper materials and surfaces being used for lighting and objects, Devantex is showing a tonal palette of warm copper and bronze tones in the luxurious piled fabrics.

Delicate antique rose is combined with pale gold for a sophisticated look, creating a welcome alternative to ecru tones.

The William Morris- and Liberty-inspired collection presents a mix of rich velvets which appear to have been worn and faded over time. A new development is the linen and viscose fabric that is piece-dyed in Italy creating a striking depth of antique rose and taupe tones, with a beautiful hand-feel and weight to the fabric.
