Mondo Collection Opens in New York City

Wednesday 28 September 2011

Mondo Collection, a new showroom of luxury design, opened in the Flatiron district in New York City this week. The showroom is geared towards both residential and commercial designers and aims to bring international design to the North American market. Countries represented in the collection include Italy, France, Bosnia and notably Lebanon: founders Mario Eclid and Hany Boutros are both Lebanese-Americans.

“In our travels, we saw so much amazing design out there that we loved and which was not available in Manhattan,” says Elcid. Internationally acclaimed designers such as Nada Debs, Karim Rashid, Marc Sadler, Jaime Hayon join local New Yorkers Patrick Weder and Lara Knutson. Hayon's newest collection for London-based brand Se is a highlight of the packed showroom, which is located in the Flatiron area of Manhattan at 20 West 22nd Street, Suite 1501.
